Job Summary

As an entry level Engineer at iCIMS, you'll have an exciting opportunity to work in Natural Language Processing/AI as you support API services and AI services software for the iCIMS Talent Cloud! You'll build scalable, high performance, back-end cloud API services mostly using Go to help our clients attract, engage, hire, and advance top talent. Leveraging your basic knowledge, we'll support your expertise with Golang training! You will be joining an agile AI team of product people, data scientists and software engineers, who created a collaborative environment centered around passion for people and their careers, as well as data science, high-performance software, and user experiences.

The team is remote but is local to Dublin, and occasionally meet in our office at Dogpatch Labs.

Responsibilities

  • Build responsible AI solutions for global hiring
  • Develop, test, and maintain innovative, scalable back-end AI services primarily in Go 
  • Collaborate closely in a small, focused, supportive and energetic team of Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers
  • Grow and learn with support from mentors and many training resources

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology field OR software development experience/training
  • Knowledge of one or more of Rest API, Golang, Java, Python.
  • An interest in learning and developing AI APIs with Golang. 
  • Understanding of software engineering practices
