Job Summary
The Training Program Manager is an individual contributor and responsible for the design, facilitation, and delivering training for new hires and ongoing education for employees for the Labs. This role is an individual contributor, accountable for coordinating, scheduling, and executing live and virtual training programs created for employees.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing comprehensive training programs tailored to address identified needs. This includes creating training materials, curriculum and resources such as manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and workshops for Labs.
- Facilitate onboarding for new hires in the H-Lab, collaborating with the H-Lab & Holmdel team to ensure a seamless, immersive experience speeding their integration into our tech organization.
- Monitor new hires progress through training, ensuring readiness for product work.
- Implementing Cohort programs through collaboration from different Subject Matter Experts
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify the training needs within an organization. This involves working closely with department heads, stakeholders, and HR to understand current and future skill requirements, gaps in employee knowledge, and emerging training needs.
- Analyze training data, create insightful reports for management review, and use data-driven metrics to improve training programs continuously.
- Implementing processes to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and assessing the impact on employee performance and organizational goals. This involves gathering feedback from participants, conducting post-training assessments, and analyzing metrics such as performance improvements, productivity gains, and skill mastery.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in training and development. Take responsibility for continuously improving training methodologies, content delivery, and learning technologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of training initiatives
- Manage relationships with external training vendors.
Qualifications
- A candidate should have a total of 10-12 years of experience, with at least 5+ years of relevant experience in managing Learning & development programs.
- Knowledge of the concepts and principles of adult learning and the ability to apply these concepts and practices to training design
- Strong systems/technology training design and delivery experience required
- Must have excellent communication, coordination and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with a Workday Learning Management System is must
- Knowledge of Pluralsight and O’reilly training tools will have added advantages.
- Advanced MS Office Suite skills is must
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative and who can proactively identify issues/opportunities and recommend actions
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in software companies
