Data Analyst

Job Summary

The Data Analyst, Insights is responsible for analyzing and modeling data to develop analytics that will influence our products and customers. The Data Analyst reports into the Senior Director, Data Insights & Customer Intelligence and will work closely with our product management teams, marketing organization, data engineers and data scientists to identify trends, then execute a plan to explain key findings to a variety of audiences.  

Responsibilities

• • • Analyze data from a variety of sources- including external labor market data and research and internal data sets from all of our platforms.  
    • Demonstrate critical thinking- identify the story in context using multiple data sets, and present results   
    • Find and Investigate data quality issues, root causes and recommend remedies to be implemented by the data scientists and engineers   
    • Work directly with business teams to understand requirements and communicate results  
    • Identify data mapping and enrichment requirements  
    • Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies  

    Additional Job Responsibilities:  

    • Produce and adapt data visualizations in response to business requests for internal and external use.   
    • Adapt existing analyses and/or models in response to business requests  
    • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and takes initiative.  
    • Maintains flexibility and reacts to change appropriately.  
    • Receives and takes action on feedback and lessons learned for continual professional improvement and development.  
    • Takes measures to enhance body of knowledge and skill set through training.  
    • Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

• • Minimum of 2 years professional experience 
  • Strong data analytics and visualization skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience creating data charts, dashboards, and calculated fields in Tableau Desktop   
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel compiling, formatting, and cleansing data 
  • Familiarity with SQL, particularly various types of data joins
