Cheryl Leahy joined Vista Equity Partners in 2019 and leads the firm’s focus on investor partnership and capital formation activities.

Before being named Co-Head in 2024, Cheryl was responsible for client engagement and development efforts within the U.S., partnering closely with many of the largest institutional investors and consultants.

Prior to Vista, Cheryl was Principal of Business Development and Strategy at TPG Sixth Street Partners, where she was responsible for capital raising, investor relations and strategy. Before TPG, Cheryl was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where she was a trader on the leveraged loan desk and a member of the external manager investment team. Cheryl started her career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch.
