Tom DeFeo joined Vista Equity Partners in 2024 and leads the firm-wide Product & Technology Value Creation practice, working across the Vista portfolio to drive innovation and growth and evaluate new companies.

Prior to Vista, Tom was Vice President of Global Solution Engineering and North America Customer Engineering at Google, where he led a diverse team of engineers tasked with ensuring the success of Google Cloud’s largest enterprise customers.

Before Google, Tom spent over two decades at Microsoft, most recently serving as the National Director of Microsoft Azure, leading a national team of cloud solution architects in helping Microsoft customers succeed with Azure. Tom began his career as an HVAC Designer at PWI Engineering.
