Ken Burke joined Vista Equity Partners in 2020 and is the General Counsel and Head of Compliance for Vista Credit Partners.

Ken also serves as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary for Vista Credit Strategic Lending.

Prior to Vista, Ken was Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at TPG Sixth Street Partners (TSSP) and Chief Compliance Officer for TSSP’s broker-dealer and BDC affiliates. Before TSSP, Ken oversaw the legal and compliance functions for a multibillion-dollar long/short equity hedge fund and was an Associate Attorney in the Securities Enforcement practice group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

Ken began his career at the SEC, where he spent more than seven years in the Office of Compliance, Inspections and Examinations. While at the SEC, Ken was seconded to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York for 18 months to assist with various white-collar criminal investigations. Ken is a member of the State Bars of New York and New Jersey.
